Love Catcher - Plot

Sharing a beautiful mansion with a group of attractive males and females, it would be natural to fall for any of them and possibly become a couple. However, things are trickier as not all the lovely housemates are here for love. Among the 'Love Catchers' who are looking for love, an unknown number of 'Money Catchers' are just pretending to have a feeling for others for the money. In this mansion, five females and five males, paired with everyone once, spend five days doing challenges and two days dating their partner of choice to catch love. All the while, they must avoid the 'Money Catchers', whose goal is to deceive the 'Love Catchers' in order to win the $ 50,000. The 'Money Catchers' must also compete against one another so that they can possess the prize money to themselves.

Will the 'Love Catchers' find love and will the 'Money Catchers' catch money?

What makes Love Catcher different from other dating shows?

Where can you stream Love Catcher for free?

Love Catcher is available to stream for free with ads on both Tubi TV and The Roku Channel. No subscription is required for either platform, making it an easy pick for viewers curious about Korean reality TV without any upfront cost.

How many seasons and episodes does Love Catcher have?

The series spans four seasons and 32 episodes in total, with each season containing 8 episodes. The seasons are: Love Catcher, Love Catcher 2, Love Catcher in Seoul, and Love Catcher in Bali, each set in a new location with a fresh cast of contestants.

Is Love Catcher still ongoing or has it ended?

Love Catcher is currently listed as a returning series and remains in production. The most recent season, Love Catcher in Bali, aired in 2023, and the show has not been officially cancelled, leaving the door open for future instalments on Mnet and TVING.

Who are the hosts and cast members of Love Catcher?

The show has featured a rotating lineup of Korean celebrities. Hosts across seasons include Shin Dong-yup, Lady Jane, and Jeon Geon-woo. Contestants and panellists have included Jang Do-yeon, Hong Seok-cheon, Kim Eun-young, DinDin, JR, Lee Hong-bin, and Son Ho-jun, among others.

What network airs Love Catcher in South Korea?

What are some shows similar to Love Catcher?

If Love Catcher's blend of romance and strategy appeals to you, try Too Hot to Handle, Love Is Blind, or Perfect Match on Netflix. For more deception-driven formats, Temptation Island and Playing It Straight offer comparable thrills. The Boyfriend is a great pick for fans of Korean reality competition.

Is Love Catcher based on a true story or scripted?

Love Catcher is an unscripted reality competition, not based on any specific true story. The premise is an original format in which real participants — not actors — are placed together, with some secretly assigned the 'Money Catcher' role, making every emotional reaction and alliance genuinely unplanned.
