The Osaka war ended in a complete victory for the Kyowakai, finally bringing the city under their control. Yamazaki-gumi's head, Kawatani (Hitoshi Ozawa), with Himuro (Yasukaze Motomiya) and Tamura (Yoshiyuki Yamaguchi) at his side, was recognized for his achievements and appointed as the Kyowakai's main family Wakagashira.
