That tension is at the heart of the story. Meryem feels an overwhelming, almost mystical pull toward the shore where she lost her family, and visits it daily despite Ibrahim's objections. Torn between gratitude and an inner voice she cannot silence, she searches for a path that honors both her grief and her loyalty.
