What is Zombie Massacre about?
Zombie Massacre follows a ragtag team of mercenaries dispatched to a small Eastern European town after a US government bioweapon experiment goes catastrophically wrong, turning the entire population into zombies. Their mission: plant an atomic bomb at the local nuclear plant to make the outbreak look like an accident and bury the truth forever.
Is Zombie Massacre based on a true story?
No, Zombie Massacre is entirely fictional. The film draws on familiar genre tropes — government conspiracies, bioweapon experiments, and zombie outbreaks — but none of its events or characters are rooted in real history. It's pure B-movie horror-action entertainment from Italian directors Marco Ristori and Luca Boni.
Where can you stream Zombie Massacre right now?

Does Uwe Boll actually appear in Zombie Massacre?
Yes — notorious filmmaker Uwe Boll, who produced the movie, also shows up on screen playing the President of the United States. It's a fun, self-aware cameo that genre fans will get a kick out of, adding a layer of B-movie charm to an already outrageous premise.
Who are the main actors in Zombie Massacre?
The film's mercenary squad is led by Christian Boeving as Jack Stone and Mike Mitchell as the colorfully named John 'Mad Dog' McKellen. They're joined by Tara Cardinal, Ivy Corbin, Jon Campling, and Carl Wharton, among others, rounding out a cast built for gritty, no-frills action-horror.
Who directed Zombie Massacre and what else have they made?
Zombie Massacre was co-directed by the Italian duo Marco Ristori and Luca Boni, who also wrote the screenplay together.
