Ezhamathe Varavu - FAQs
What is Ezhamathe Varavu about?
Ezhamathe Varavu follows Gopinath, a wealthy planter in Wayanad's forests, his emotionally neglected wife Bhanu, and Prasad, an archaeologist who turns out to be her college sweetheart. The film weaves together themes of marriage, longing, and humanity's complicated relationship with the natural world around them.
Does Ezhamathe Varavu have a message about nature?
Absolutely. The film uses the lush forests of Wayanad as more than a backdrop — nature is central to the story's soul. Gopinath sees the jungle as something to conquer, while Prasad and the tribal character Mala represent a more respectful, harmonious relationship with the wild. That contrast drives the film's deeper meaning.
