Rana Jung Bahadur was born on November 23, 1952, in Pathankot in the state of Punjab, India. He is an Indian film actor, film producer, and comedian who has built a distinguished career across both the Hindi and Punjabi film industries.
Rana Jung Bahadur completed his schooling at D.A.V. Model School in Chandigarh. He is widely renowned as a comedian in both the Hindi and Punjabi film industries. Though he has mostly been cast in brief comic roles, his performances have consistently proven to be effective and impactful. He made his acting debut in 1980 with the Punjabi film Chann Pardesee, and later made his Bollywood debut with the film Waaris in 1988.
Following those early appearances, he went on to feature in a large number of Punjabi and Bollywood productions. Among the films he has worked on, his performances in Duplicate, Dulhe Raja, and Dhamaal stand out as particularly well-regarded. His notable Punjabi film credits include Pure Punjabi, Jatt & Juliet, Kaptaan, and Ambarsariya, among others.
