Biography

Chikako Aoyama is a Japanese actress and color psychotherapist, born and raised in Osaka Prefecture. She made her screen debut in 1989 with a role in the film Sentamako, launching a career that would take her across multiple genres and international productions throughout the following decade.

In the early 1990s, Aoyama expanded her reach beyond Japan, appearing in Hong Kong productions including Female Robot and Breaking Out, in which she took starring roles, as well as a guest appearance in When the King Comes Back. During this same period, she released the art photo collections Subtropical Climate, showcasing her striking screen presence and celebrated figure that defined much of her early career work.

Beyond her acting pursuits, Aoyama dedicated herself to a parallel path in holistic wellness. In 1999, she earned qualifications as a color psychotherapy consultant and teacher in the United Kingdom, and subsequently obtained credentials as a color blender and JAA aromatherapist in Japan. She has since established herself as a practicing color psychotherapist, continuing her work in that field alongside her entertainment career.
